About The Position
Avita Health System is proud to serve the communities of Crawford and Richland counties through three hospitals and numerous clinic locations. Over the past few years, we’ve tripled in size, now employing over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to the people who depend on us. We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN)s to join our Nursing Flex Program. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
- Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
Responsibilities
