About The Position

This is a full-time day position working Monday thru Friday with our outpatient population in the Calaway Young Cancer Center at Valley View. This Infusion RN will be doing therapeutic IV's, chemo and blood products. Valley View is an independent community-based hospital that works to provide services, including state of the art cancer care to our community. The Calaway Young Cancer Center is the leading cancer treatment facility in the Rockies, home to a nationally renowned, highly skilled, innovative and respected team of providers with accreditations for the most advanced technologies and cancer treatment options in the country. At this unique treatment center, providers understand that there is no “one type” of cancer. Using advanced technologies like tumor-genetic profiling and achieving unique accreditations for several radiation treatments and more than 120 therapeutic agents, treatment plans are as unique as the patient. Through a collaborative and communicative approach, providers work closely with other caregivers at Valley View, including primary care physicians, surgeons and other medical specialists, to support high-quality, compassionate care for each patient. Requirements

  • Current Colorado RN license or eligibility to obtain
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • 3 years recent RN Med-Surg or equivalent experience, including IV experience
  • Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy/Bio-therapy certification required
