About The Position

Ignite Medical Resort Katy is seeking a Director of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer. This role is responsible for the health of each resident and the coordination of services to provide the appropriate level of care as determined through the assessment process. The Chief Nursing Officer must be able to take call after hours and on weekends, maintain quality assurance, implement plans for improvement, and present a professional appearance. The position requires the ability to understand and follow directions related to patient care and has full access to Protected Health Information of residents. Exceptional attendance is a requirement.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nursing license in good standing in the State of Oklahoma
  • Degreed as a registered nurse from accredited nursing program
  • CPR and First Aid training
  • Ability to take call after hours and on weekends and maintains a chain of command
  • Ability to understand and follow through with directions given related to patient care
  • Registered Nurse
  • 2 year Director of Nursing experience in SNF
