Requirements
- Current Virginia certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Current Virginia Registered Medication Aide (RMA) license
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
- Availability to work night shifts (6 PM – 6 AM)
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Accurately administer prescribed medications as per RMA certification
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and medication administration
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Promote a safe, clean, and homelike environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff, residents, and families to ensure individualized care
