About The Position

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Excellent mathematical and technical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret English-language documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication skills may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing; handling objects, tools, or controls; reaching; talking and hearing; and lifting or moving loads up to 50 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing entertainment events and activities.
• Coordinate entertainer bookings at Hollywood Casino Toledo with the PENN Corporate entertainment team and third-party booking agents, including submitting contracts in a timely manner.
• Ensure payments are processed promptly and delivered to entertainers by mail or in person.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date entertainment calendar and schedule.
• Collaborate with marketing and promotions teams to advertise events.
• Track the entertainment budget and record and report monthly expenses.
• Advance shows by communicating with performers, agents, technical staff, and team members to confirm riders, production needs, call times, hospitality requirements, and other specifications.
• Be available and on property as needed to execute approved live shows.
• Coordinate with artists’ Road/Production Managers on load-in times, sound checks, crew calls, and backline requirements.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies for reasonable artist needs.
• Ensure artist dressing rooms are properly prepared and maintained.
• Assist in maintaining company-owned equipment.
• Perform audio/visual project duties as assigned by the Assistant AV Entertainment Manager.
• Complete job tasks in a timely manner according to department standards.
