Requirements

• Active RN license with Nursys license verification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days

• Ability to work in a hospital setting and manage care on a 12-hour day shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical/surgical patients on a telemetry-enabled unit, including monitoring of cardiac rhythms.
• Assess patients regularly, document findings, and adjust care plans in collaboration with the health care team.
• Administer prescribed medications, manage IV therapies, and monitor for adverse effects.
• Respond to clinical changes, coordinate admissions and discharges, and communicate effectively with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and education; ensure adherence to infection control and quality improvement practices.
• Support rapid patient turnover while delivering high-quality, individualized care.
