RN Neuro Step Down Days
About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Neuro Step Down Unit at its Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho. The position is located at the Regional Medical Center. The nurse will provide next-level care for neurological patients in a newly built, state-of-the-art 17-bed unit equipped with advanced technology. The patient population includes post-operative patients and people with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders. This role offers the opportunity to develop specialized skills and care for high-acuity patients in a team focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Hold an Idaho or multistate RN license.
- Establish Idaho residency within six months if applicable.
- Hold BLS certification.
- Obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within designated timelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to neurological patients in a Level II Trauma Center and Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- Care for post-operative patients and patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders.
- Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients in the 17-bed Neuro Step Down Unit.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care using advanced clinical skills and the unit’s technology and equipment.
