About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Neuro Step Down Unit at the Regional Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center and Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center in Boise, Idaho. The position is on a 17-bed step-down unit in a newly built, state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology. Nurses care for high-acuity neurological patients, including post-operative patients and people with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders. The role offers opportunities to develop specialized skills and potentially build experience toward intensive critical care. The schedule is a 12-hour night shift. Requirements

Hold an Idaho or multistate RN license; establish Idaho residency within six months if applicable.
Have BLS certification.
Obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within designated timelines.

Responsibilities

Provide care for neurological patients in a Level II Trauma Center and Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Care for post-operative patients and patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders.
Deliver high-quality nursing care in a 17-bed step-down unit.
Use advanced clinical skills to assess, stabilize, and monitor patients.
