About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 17-bed Neuro Step Down Unit at its Level II Trauma Center and Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center in Boise, Idaho. The role provides care for a high-acuity neurological patient population in a newly built, state-of-the-art unit equipped with advanced technology. Patients include postoperative patients and people with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders. The nurse assesses, stabilizes, and monitors patients while delivering high-quality nursing care. This position is a 12-hour night shift. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are offered. Requirements
- Idaho or multistate Registered Nurse license; applicable multistate-license holders must establish Idaho residency within six months.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within designated timelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to neurological patients in a 17-bed step-down unit.
- Assess, stabilize, and monitor high-acuity patients.
- Care for postoperative patients and patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center and Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center.
