About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, professional dialysis nursing services in an outpatient setting. The RN helps ensure patients’ safety, comfort, and wellbeing while delivering treatments, monitoring patient status, and responding to clinical situations. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a clinical care team, and applying critical-thinking skills to support patient care. No dialysis experience is necessary; paid training is provided. The position is located at 2263 S Depot St, Santa Maria, California. Open availability is required Monday through Saturday, from 4:00 AM to 7:00 PM; hours may extend based on patient needs. The typical schedule is three 12–13-hour shifts per week. A $5,000 retention package is offered. The wage range is $42.00–$59.00 per hour, with compensation depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of practice.
CPR certification.
Basic EKG interpretation.
At least 2 years of experience with acutely ill patients; ICU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is preferred.
Strong assessment, time-management, and communication skills.
Open availability Monday through Saturday, 4:00 AM–7:00 PM; hours may extend based on patient needs.

Nice To Haves

CNN certification is a plus.
ICU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is preferred.
