About The Position
Ensures the Referrals made by the providers are processed to ensure our patients receive timely follow-up on their diagnosis.
Requirements
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Microsoft Outlook
- Responsible for verification of patient’s insurance/coverage, authorization for referral and determination of specialist authorized for plan
- Maintenance of referral log to ensure proper tracking of the referral process
- Communication with patients regarding the status of pending referral(s)
- 1+ years experience preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Clean background and drug screen
Responsibilities
