Referral Management Coordinator
About The Position
Palm Point Behavioral Health is hiring a Referral Management Coordinator to work Monday through Thursday, 9:30pm - 7:30am. This role is fully on-site. The Referral Management Coordinator is responsible for the timely processing of inquiry and referral calls. Serves as liaison to referral sources, physicians, unit staff and hospital personnel involved with each transfer request. Enters call data into the facility’s database and manages all e-fax application(s) to process incoming referrals and transfer requests in a timely manner. Effectively communicate with unit staff, physicians, and Admissions Triage Staff. Follow hospital’s policies and procedures regarding referral management.
Requirements
- Licensed RN or Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences.
- BLS required or obtained prior to direct patient care.
- 1-3 years of experience preferred in Florida psychiatric health care.
Nice To Haves
- RN, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT preferred.
