Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and project management
  • Experience in cost forecasting, accrual reporting, Earned Value Management, payment reviews, and scheduling
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with cost control tools (Unifier, eBuilder, Procore, or similar)
  • Ability to communicate financial status and schedule details to executive management
  • General understanding of data center materials and equipment
  • High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • 5 plus years of field experience
  • Data center design, construction, or procurement experience
  • Experience working with general contractors
  • Strong communication and management skills
  • Background as project manager, project engineer, project accountant, project controls analyst, or cost engineer
  • Independent, self-starter with adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Practical experience in project controls cost management
  • BA/BS in construction management, engineering, or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal project budgets and schedule of values in project management software (Unifier) for monthly financial reporting
  • Manage external project budgets and communications, including commitments, change management, and document control
  • Manage monthly accruals, forecasts, cash flows, and analyze forecast variances; prepare executive reports
  • Verify receipt of materials and equipment to support timely vendor payments
  • Actualize costs against POs for accurate spend tracking
  • Manage monthly vendor invoice review, including coordination with business partners, Accounts Payable, and sourcing
  • Ensure accurate quarterly accrual reporting for all POs, including vendor and Finance communication
  • Facilitate change order routing, review processes, and approvals within project tools
  • Resolve invoice holds through triage, analysis, and direct coordination with vendors and stakeholders
  • Review monthly equipment spend health with management using dashboards, budget tools, and reports
  • Perform financial closeout of budgets and vendor POs
  • Align financial forecasts and risks with Sourcing and Site Teams based on schedule updates
  • Support program initiatives, training, and alignment activities
  • Deliver project and program financial reporting and analytics
