Loan Officer Training Program (ACES)

About The Position
loanDepot offers the ACES Lending Officer training program for individuals pursuing a sales career in the lending industry. The program provides comprehensive training to prepare participants for the SAFE and National Licensing exams and develop their knowledge of mortgages, HELOCs, and the full loan life cycle. Participants work with training and sales leadership teams and may transition after training to a Licensed Lending Officer role. The role is based in Plano, Texas, and requires full-time commuting to that location. The company provides leads and offers hourly pay during training, along with a monthly per-origination bonus incentive once the employee is licensed and speaking with customers. After ACES training, the Licensed Lending Officer role has an hourly minimum wage plus a bonus structure based on fundings; compensation details for that role are shared upon transition.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of sales experience with a proven record of meeting and exceeding goals.
- Ability to pass the NMLS exam and meet requirements for obtaining state and national mortgage licenses.
- Ability to commute to Plano, Texas, full-time.
- Ability to connect effectively with clients through phone presentations and cultivate strong client relationships.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality, a collaborative attitude, and willingness to embrace coaching.
- Comfort using technology and software for loan processing and customer management.
- Dedication to customer satisfaction and strong sales relationships.
Nice To Haves
- Call center sales experience is highly preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
- Previous lending experience is not required.
