Piano Accompanist Jobs

Marymount School is seeking a skilled piano accompanist to support music programs for students in nursery through fifth grade. Working alongside the lead music teacher, the accompanist will support choral music lessons, rehearsals, chapel services, concerts, and performances throughout the school year. The role calls for exceptional piano performance and sight-reading skills, strong band-leading experience, and a collaborative approach to working with young musicians. The successful candidate will build positive professional relationships with students and colleagues and contribute to an inclusive, enthusiastic, and engaging musical environment. Flexibility, careful preparation, and the ability to respond confidently to musical direction are essential. This is a part-time position following a two-week schedule. It requires approximately 20 hours per week between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., including approximately 11 hours of scheduled classes and rehearsals. Specific hours may be adjusted to meet the school's academic and performing arts schedules. The position follows the school's calendar, including scheduled holidays.
