About The Position

The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance may seek full time or part time, temporary or special Music Instructors to provide collaborative piano support to ensembles, instrumental majors, and/or vocal majors in CSU's School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, and in administrative roles coordinating special programs. Applicants are added to the pool list throughout the calendar year. Hiring decisions are made during the late spring and early summer for fall semester, during the early fall semester for spring and during the spring semester for the summer term. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance or Collaborative Piano
Evidence of significant accompanying experience (at least 5 years).

Nice To Haves

Master's in Piano Performance
Evidence of significant accompanying experience (at least 2 years).

Responsibilities

Rehearse and perform with students for lessons, performances, studio classes, master classes, competitions, and juries (vocal and instrumental assignments as needed).
Accompany opera rehearsals and performances.
Accompany daily vocal ensemble rehearsals and performances.
Accompany for Freshman Voice Class.
Accompany for auditions as requested.
