About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Prior pharmacy or healthcare business office experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of insurance billing and pharmacy workflows
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience with pharmacy or billing software a plus
• Michigan Pharmacy Technician License and PTCB certification preferred (training available for required certifications, including 340B)

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile pharmacy billing, payments, and accounts receivable
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and communicate with third-party payers
• Coordinate ordering, delivery, and inventory tracking of clinic-administered medications
• Support cold-chain management, DSCSA documentation, and medication compliance
• Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, finance, and clinical staff
• Uphold HIPAA, safety standards, and organizational customer service expectations
