Requirements
- Highly motivated team-player with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate PC proficiency.
- Intermediate proficiency in Google Docs and Microsoft Office products.
- 3 or more years of customer service experience required.
- 2 or more years of retail banking experience required.
- Platform banking experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Cross selling experience preferred.
- Consumer credit experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and related training or experience required.
Responsibilities
- Serving as a consultant to customers by conducting customer financial profiles, identifying customer needs, cross-selling, and up-selling opportunities.
- Attracting, expanding, and retaining customer relationships.
- Contributing to the financial growth of the banking center.
- Performing other projects and duties as assigned.
- Achieving defined sales and service goals.
- Making recommendations to supervisors concerning the budgetary needs of the branch and methods to improve the client’s experience.
- Understanding the root causes of customer service issues.
- Identifying and implementing resolutions for service issues involving supervisors on more complex issues.
- Conducting onboarding activities for new clients.
- Providing backup support to other branches as needed.
- Providing assistance and training to other colleagues and serving as a mentor.
- Performing all sales and service functions of the branch as needed, including teller.
- Practicing ethical sales behaviors in accordance with the Bank’s Core Values of Integrity and Honesty.
- Acting in the best interest of the customer when offering additional products and services.
