About The Position
Briotix Health is seeking a full-time, non-exempt Industrial Sports Medicine Professional to provide on-site services at a manufacturing client site in Goshen, Indiana. The role averages 40 hours per week and is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; on-site hours may vary based on client expectations. The listed pay range is $33–$39 per hour, negotiable based on credentials and experience. A $1,000 one-year retention bonus is offered. The professional provides on-site care to workers, supports injury prevention and Early Discomfort Management (EDM), and helps develop ergonomic solutions. The role requires understanding job functions, technical tasks, functional body movements, and discomforts, while following established OSHA First Aid standards and guidelines. The professional works autonomously, builds relationships with client contacts and employees, and collaborates with Briotix Health stakeholders. Depending on client requirements, services may include functional employment testing, return-to-work/stay-at-work services, ergonomic assessments, or clinical solutions. Detailed and timely reporting and documentation are required. Requirements
- Education in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
- Appropriate certifications and/or state license in good standing in each state where services are provided.
- Current CPR certification: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, BLS Healthcare Provider, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of on-site work, including lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds and frequently standing, walking, sitting, and/or squatting; reasonable accommodations will be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Ergonomic certification or training.
- 1–2 years of experience in industrial or office ergonomics, industrial sports medicine, functional employment testing, or job task analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site services at one client site location in Goshen, Indiana.
- Create and maintain positive relationships between Briotix Health and client contacts.
- Initiate and establish professional, engaging relationships with client employees.
- Provide education and training for individuals and groups focused on injury and illness prevention.
- Provide on-site care and management of work-related and non-work-related discomforts.
- Maintain knowledge of OSHA health and safety practices and follow established OSHA First Aid standards and guidelines.
- Understand, implement, and follow all steps of the Early Discomfort Management (EDM) program.
- As required by the client, provide functional employment testing, return-to-work/stay-at-work services, ergonomic assessments, or clinical solutions.
- Complete detailed, timely reports for services provided.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Briotix Health’s designated web-based system.
- Follow safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards at each worksite.
- Follow Briotix Health policies, practices, and government regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
