About The Position
Venture Metals + is a fast-growing, metal recycling company looking to grow its operations team with an Equipment Operator. We are looking for full-time, dual role Heavy Equipment Operator, who will assist with metal recycling activities. Must be motivated, hardworking individuals for our warehouse scrap facility.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled / outdoor facility.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Some experience operating Grapple crane, forklift, skid steer and excavator operation / maintenance experience.
- Scrap metal/waste experience is a plus, but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload scrap metal materials with Grapple, forklift, or skid-steers.
- Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment and industrial recycling equipment to minimize downtime and make improvements.
- Observe all safety requirements and lead by example.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback for coaching.
- Ensure a clean and orderly workplace; clean and prepare sites by removing debris and possible hazards.
- Adhere to, evaluate, and maintain proper service logs and maintenance requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
