Production Operator / Laborer (7am-3pm)

About The Position
New Pig Energy is looking for a Manufacturing Production Associate for the Altoona location. This position operates during daylight hours from 7am to 3pm and offers a pay rate of $18 per hour.
Requirements
- Proficiency in math skills, including square yard and linear yard calculations, and unit conversions.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
- Capability of producing all products to the standard rate.
- Ability to retrieve and apply all quality information.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Demonstrated commitment to all tasks assigned.
- Willingness to share input readily to improve manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate mat equipment, load rolls, and package products.
- Adjust the process to meet quality standards.
- Perform quality checks and collect quality data as needed.
- Enter production quantities and material usage into production reporting systems.
- Perform all other production-related duties assigned or directed.
- Actively participate on the process improvement team.
