About The Position

High Steel Structures is seeking an Industrial Forklift Operator to join its team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The operator uses a gas-powered industrial forklift to move, handle, and transport raw materials, supplies, products, and parts. Materials are moved to and from indoor and outdoor storage areas and work areas, and between plants and the warehouse. The role is listed as first shift. Overtime, including Saturday mornings, may be required as the job requires.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work overtime, including Saturday mornings, as required.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification is desired; High Steel Structures will certify the right candidate.
• At least 6 months of experience in a steel fabrication facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a gas-powered industrial forklift truck.
• Move, handle, and transport raw materials, supplies, products, and parts to and from indoor and outdoor storage areas and work areas, and between plants and the warehouse.
