About The Position

High Steel Structures is seeking an Industrial Forklift Operator to join its team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The company fabricates structural steel for bridge and transportation projects across North America.

Industrial Forklift Operators operate a gas-powered industrial forklift to move, handle, and transport raw materials, supplies, products, and parts. Materials may be moved to or from indoor and outdoor storage areas, work areas, and between plants and warehouses. The position is first shift and may require overtime, including Saturday mornings, as job demands require.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalent (GED).
• Ability to work overtime, including Saturday mornings, as required.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification is desired; the employer will certify the right candidate.
• At least 6 months of experience in a steel fabrication facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a gas-powered industrial forklift truck.
• Move, handle, or transport raw materials, supplies, products, and parts to or from indoor and outdoor storage areas, work areas, and between plants and warehouses.
