About The Position
Quality Packaging Inc. is experiencing growth and is seeking a skilled CNC Operator who takes pride in their work, can read blueprints, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is reliable for keeping machines running and maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of CNC experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Solid basic math and measurement skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of CNC experience
- Experience with precision measuring instruments
- Technical training or CNC certification
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery to meet production specifications.
- Load raw materials and monitor machine performance during operation.
- Perform tooling changes and adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelers.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and communicate with the team.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic machine upkeep.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tour-ready workspace.
