About The Position
Inontime is hiring a Mobile Trailer Mechanic (Fleet Maintenance Technician) to join their team. This is a hands-on, independent role where the technician will drive a fully equipped mobile maintenance vehicle to perform on-site trailer inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair, particularly with trailers is preferred.
- Valid drivers license (Class A preferred)
- Certifications in brakes, suspension, and electrical (or willingness to train)
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to work independently
- Clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certifications preferred: T4 - Brakes, T5 - Suspension & Steering, T6 - Electrical/Electronic Systems
Responsibilities
- Operate a mobile maintenance truck to service trailers at local sites
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailer components (brakes, suspension, lighting, etc.)
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
- Document work completed and communicate with the Fleet Operations Supervisor
- Follow all safety and compliance standards
