As a 3rd Shift Senior Operations Supervisor, you will lead and oversee production operations during the overnight shift to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently achieved. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of accountability, and developing high-performing teams. Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience supervising teams.
  • Experience driving safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.

  • Experience using ERP/ MRP Systems (i.e SAP , Solumina)
  • Experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience providing leadership, communication, and problem-solving support in operational environments.
  • Experience working in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience developing employees and building high-performing teams.
  • Experience applying analytical methods and data-driven decision-making in operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise 3rd Shift production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
  • Provide daily leadership, coaching, and development for hourly employees and team leads.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Monitor production performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, performance management, and employee development for the overnight shift.
  • Make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
