About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse ā€“ Progressive Care for an exciting Travel or Local job in Atlanta, GA. This role involves providing care for neuro and progressive care (stepdown) patients in a high-acuity setting. The nurse will monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, evaluate patient responses, and perform ongoing patient assessments and documentation in EPIC. Responsibilities also include responding to changes in patient status, escalating care when needed, collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, supporting the stabilization and recovery of stepdown patients, and ensuring safe and quality patient care delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years PCU or Neuro Stepdown experience required
  • Neuro stepdown experience required (or strong Med-Surg with stepdown exposure considered)
  • Active Georgia RN license
  • NIHSS required
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • EPIC EMR experience required

Responsibilities
