About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, comprehensive nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates the patient’s overall experience and integrates patient care using the nursing process. The RN directs patient-focused care in accordance with established standards for safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control, with the goal of discharging patients after providing an optimum level of care. This is a seasonal, per-diem position on the Surgical Orthopedic unit, scheduled for day shifts, three shifts per week.

Requirements

• Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
• At least 1 year of current acute care experience.
• Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• For telemetry and higher-acuity units: ACLS certification from the American Heart Association and basic EKG interpretation.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
