About The Position

Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its long-term care unit at a skilled nursing facility in Sheridan, Wyoming. The facility is under new ownership by Eduro Healthcare LLC. The role’s primary purpose is to ensure high-quality resident care, support staff, and contribute to a positive reputation in the community while upholding Eduro Healthcare’s values. Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
Active Registered Nurse license issued by Wyoming.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Experience as a Registered Nurse; the posting describes the position as seeking an experienced RN.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care for residents.
Conduct nursing assessments and evaluate changes in residents’ conditions to ensure appropriate interventions and care planning.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with facility policies and professional nursing standards.
Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy as permitted by state practice, tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care, and other complex nursing procedures.
Supervise, delegate to, and provide clinical guidance for LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel in accordance with state nurse practice acts.
Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated based on resident assessments and interdisciplinary team input.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care.
Complete required documentation, assessments, and clinical records accurately and on time, in accordance with regulatory standards.
