About The Position
A locum tenens Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical-only, outpatient general cardiology services for adults in Seattle, Washington. The coverage period is January 25, 2027, through July 30, 2027, to cover a vacancy related to maternity/paternity leave. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., in 10-hour shifts. Average daily volume is 10–12 patients, with a case mix including general cardiology and stress testing. The role uses Epic and requires hospital privileges. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the vendor.
Requirements
- Board certification is required.
- Must be licensed in Washington or hold a Universal License (IMLC).
- DEA registration is required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Cardiology experience is required.
- Hospital privileges are required.
Responsibilities
- Provide general cardiology clinic services, including evaluation and management of patients.
- Supervise stress tests and dobutamine stress echocardiograms (DSE).
- Manage rapid emergency department referral patients with cardiology needs.
- Conduct follow-up visits for general cardiology patients.
- Collaborate with the cardiology team to provide comprehensive patient care.
