Clinical Nurse - Cardiac Testing

About The Position

Indiana University Health is hiring an experienced nurse for its Cardiac Testing team. The role cares for patients with varied cardiovascular histories, including post-MI, CABG, valve repair or replacement, PCI, heart failure, shortness of breath, and deconditioning. Nurses develop skills in managing medication infusions during and after stress tests, airway management during and after transesophageal echocardiograms, and communication with cardiac fellows and attending physicians. The echocardiography lab, including RN-driven stress testing, is ICAEL accredited. The unit is a small, close-knit team that works together across varying workflows. The position has no weekends, holidays, or call and is referral eligible and qualifies for a location differential.

Requirements

  • Associate of Nursing (ASN).
  • Current Indiana Registered Nurse license.
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required according to unit or department specialty and patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
