About The Position

Georgia Hospice Care is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse for an after-hours hospice role. The RN advocates for patients and helps ensure they receive quality care, communicating with patients, families, and the hospice care team about the plan of care. The position is salaried and full-time, covering on-call hours from 5 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Monday. The nurse is supported by a 24/7 RN-staffed Triage Department and the local hospice team. Requirements

• A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state license as a registered nurse.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently.
• Ability to lift at least 80–100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.

• Hospice experience preferred.
