Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric Cardiac ICU

About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner will act as a full member of the team taking responsibility for the safe delivery of care in collaboration with attending physicians, fellows and residents. This team member will meet productivity expectations as set forth by the Division Chief, performing any duties related to patient care activities that are appropriate and clearly delineated.
Requirements
- Experience in the care of children with complex congenital cardiac disease.
- Experience with medical interventions including management of acute/chronic heart failure, septic shock, renal and respiratory failure.
- Experience with treatment modalities such as mechanical ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, ventricular assist devices, temporary pacemaker therapy, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy and acute hemodialysis.
