About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or House Supervisor, uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit. The LVN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources.

This is a full-time night-shift position at Voyages Behavioral Health in Conroe. The hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for education and professional growth.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state where the hospital is located.
• Current BLS certification.
• Crisis management certification in accordance with hospital policy and standards.

Nice To Haves

• One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience; preferred but not required.
