About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides, directs, and supervises care for patients admitted to the nursing unit, using the nursing process under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or House Supervisor. The role includes planning and coordinating patient care, participating in interdisciplinary and discharge planning, teaching patients and families about post-hospitalization care, and accessing community resources. This is a PRN night position at Voyages Sugar Land.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state where the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification.
- Crisis management certification as required by hospital policy and standards.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience; preferred but not required.
