About The Position

The Intake Coordinator provides admissions office support for Voyages Behavioral Health’s facility. The role manages referral, intake, verification, pre-certification, and admissions processes, and performs other related duties as assigned. This is a PRN nights position in Sugar Land.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a medical office position or healthcare registration function.
• Medical terminology knowledge and knowledge of insurance verification processes are required.
• Crisis management certification is required per hospital policy and standards.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Business or technical school is preferred.
