About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for using the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit. The RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, teaching patients and families about post-hospitalization care, and helping patients access community resources. The position works under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or House Supervisor.

Requirements

Hold current Registered Nurse licensure in the state where the hospital is located.
Current BLS certification is required.
Crisis management certification is required according to hospital policy and standards.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience is preferred but not required.
