Requirements

• Be enrolled in an accredited nursing program and have completed the first year of an ADN program or the third year of a BSN program.
• Obtain BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or job transfer.
• Organize and establish day-to-day priorities using critical thinking skills.
• Multitask while remaining professional, focused, composed, and positive.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service, integrity, friendliness, and compassion.
• Establish appropriate and effective rapport with others.

• Be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Record and monitor vital signs.
• Gather specimens for diagnostic testing.
• Monitor patient food and liquid intake and output.
• Assist patients with positioning and ambulation.
• Document in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the clinical team.
• Perform glucose monitoring.
• Transport patients.
• Provide a positive and therapeutic healing environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
