About The Position

St. Mary’s Healthcare is hiring a full-time Nurse Extern for 36 hours per week on rotating shifts. The role supports patient care and the clinical team by monitoring patients, documenting care, and helping maintain a positive and therapeutic healing environment. The hiring range is $20.23–$27.06 per hour; actual compensation depends on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Requirements

Be enrolled in an accredited nursing program and have completed the first year of an ADN program or the third year of a BSN program.
Obtain BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or job transfer.
Organize and establish day-to-day priorities using critical thinking skills.
Multitask while remaining professional, focused, composed, and positive.
Demonstrate excellent customer service, integrity, friendliness, and compassion.
Establish appropriate and effective rapport with others.

Be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
