About The Position
Cardinal Points Imaging of the Carolinas is seeking a (PRN) MRI Technologist I to join an energetic, patient-focused team! This is a PRN position with a schedule of working weekday and weekend shifts "as needed" in Raleigh, NC. The role offers the opportunity to begin or continue a rewarding career in outpatient imaging. The company offers competitive base pay, shift differential pay for qualifying shifts, a 401(k) company matching program, and no on-call or holidays.
Requirements
- Up to 3 years experience as a MRI Technologist
- Minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT.
- MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment.
- Meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
- Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols.
- Skill in operation of MRI equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
