About The Position

American Health Imaging is hiring a registered MRI Technologist for a full-time position at its new outpatient imaging center in West Ashley, South Carolina, scheduled to open in December 2026. The technologist performs high-quality MRI scans while providing excellent, compassionate patient care and service. The center is located at 1013 Physicians Dr., Charleston, SC 29414. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration with advanced MRI certification (ARRT-MR).
• Current CPR certification.
• IV certification or skills.
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles.
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Organized, with effective time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and a flexible approach to patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Provide patient-centered care and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to provide quality care and service.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and quality standards.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning patients safely, including helping them onto and off the MRI table and into wheelchairs as needed.
