About The Position

Lumexa Imaging partner American Health Imaging is hiring a full-time registered MRI Technologist for its new outpatient imaging center in West Ashley, South Carolina. The center is scheduled to open in December 2026. The technologist will perform high-quality MRI scans and provide excellent, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center is located at 1013 Physicians Dr., Charleston, SC 29414. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is advertised.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT registration with advanced MRI certification (ARRT-MR).
Current CPR certification.
IV certification or skills.
Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles.
Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Organization and effective time-management skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Positive, team-oriented attitude and a flexible approach to patient care.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday while performing patient care duties.

Previous experience as an MRI Technologist.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout imaging.
Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to deliver quality care and service.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and quality standards.
Assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning patients safely, including helping them onto and off the MRI table and into wheelchairs as needed.
