About The Position

Provides healthcare services using CT imaging technology to assist with medical diagnosis. Performs CT procedures according to established protocols and produces images for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed physician. Uses professional judgment, maintains conduct consistent with medical ethics, provides patient care, and recognizes patient conditions needed for successful procedures. The CT team at Children’s of Alabama uses low-dose CT technology to perform scans that support the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric conditions. The role is part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on safety, precision, and minimizing radiation exposure. The CT suite works with the Anesthesia department and child life specialists to provide the Ambient Experience, which helps reduce patient anxiety. Requirements

Registered Radiology Technologist credential.
Associate degree in Radiology Technology.
Two years of staff-level job experience specializing in Diagnostic CT imaging.
ARRT registration in CT within 12 months of hire.
