About The Position
American Health Imaging is seeking a full-time registered Ultrasound Technologist for its new outpatient imaging center in West Ashley, Charleston, South Carolina, scheduled to open in December 2026. The technologist will perform high-quality scans and provide excellent customer care and service to patients. The center is located at 1013 Physicians Dr., Charleston, SC 29414. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Requirements
- Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in RVT, AB, and/or OB/GYN, or willingness to obtain certification within four months.
- Flexible with patient scheduling to accommodate patient needs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Integrity, honesty, and a strong work ethic.

- Time-management and organizational skills.
- Patience, versatility, and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Basic proficiency with computer monitors, keyboard, and mouse for scanning, RIS, and PACS use.

- Helpful, patient, and sympathetic.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound scans.
- Provide excellent customer care and service to patients.
- Accommodate patient needs with flexibility in scheduling.
- Lift and move patients and position them for examinations.
- Assist patients on and off the examination table and into a wheelchair when required.
