About The Position
Grand Villa of Deland is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as Memory Care Resident Care Assistants and Med Techs. The role involves providing exceptional care and support to senior residents in an assisted living environment. This position requires a background screening as mandated by Florida law.
Requirements
- Compassionate and patient-oriented attitude
- Ability to work the second shift from 2pm to 10pm
- Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to pass a background screening as mandated by Florida law
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in healthcare, assisted living, or senior care
- Med Tech certification
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medications and monitor residents’ health status (Med Techs preferred)
- Assist with daily activities and ensure a safe, comfortable environment
- Document resident care and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity
- Participate in rotating weekend shifts and work some holidays as required
