About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in HVAC and Plumbing systems
• Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
• Minimum of 10 years of HVAC and plumbing system design experience within a consulting environment
• Experience with ASHRAE standards 90.1, 62.1, and 55
• Experience with California Title 24 Energy Code requirements
• Proficiency using BIM software, Revit, and AutoCAD required
• Provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).

Nice To Haves

• LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification preferred
• Background in sustainable and energy-efficient building design preferred
• Experience supporting Design-Build projects and alternative project delivery methods preferred
• Previous work on government/Department of Defense construction projects highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical and plumbing engineering design development for projects across all RQ operational regions.
• Guide engineering standards and project execution in compliance with U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force planning, design, and RFP requirements.
• Collaborate with a highly skilled group of engineers, designers, and construction professionals.
• Contribute to impactful projects located throughout the United States and international locations.
• Play an active role in shaping processes, improving workflows, and implementing modern engineering technologies and design solutions.
