About The Position

Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking Experienced and Senior Level Mechanical Design Engineers for the Environmental Test Design Engineering team in Berkeley, Missouri. The position supports St. Louis Environmental Lab testing for local Boeing Defense & Space programs. Design engineers partner with lab test teams to provide the designs and hardware required for testing in areas including vibrational and structural dynamics, acoustics, airflow and fuel flow systems, high-temperature flow impingement, and environmental control chambers that vary temperature, humidity, and pressure. The team designs and modifies test articles, fixtures, and support structures that integrate with lab facilities. Projects range from adapters and fixtures to full test rigs and complete aircraft subsystems with supporting structures. Engineers design interfaces to facility infrastructure, including pressure, heating and cooling, power, hydraulics, and instrumentation, and support fabrication, installation, connection, and acceptance/check-out of test-ready hardware. The position offers work on military aircraft and weapons programs including T-7A, F-15, F/A-18, MQ-25, JDAM, SDB, and proprietary Phantom Works efforts.
