About The Position

The Mechanical Design Engineer will engineer and design mechanical assemblies, automation systems, and related systems for precision deep-hole drilling machines and special-purpose industrial equipment. The work includes preparing machine layout drawings, required calculations, component specifications, and other documentation. The position also performs drafting, mechanical analysis, and design tasks while maintaining confidentiality and supporting company standards. The role is a long-term need and may be temp-to-perm or direct hire. Work is on-site in the Marshall, Missouri area.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related degree.
• 2–5 years of experience designing manufacturing equipment or industrial machinery.
• Applied mathematical skills and mechanical analysis ability.
• Computer skills, including drafting and AutoCAD proficiency.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with SolidWorks and Inventor.
