About The Position
The Yard Coordinator is responsible for trailer placement and bill exchange within the Dunn location. This role is accountable for the organization of the trailer yard and the location of moving parts. The position requires providing accurate and timely responses to supervisors, forklift operators, drivers, and others. Key duties include checking drivers in and out, and maintaining accurate trailer locations by updating data as movements occur.
Requirements
- Able to communicate through verbal and written forms.
- Able to confidently make decisions, especially quick last-minute changes.
- Able to read, write and communicate in various forms to reach the receiving audience.
- Workable knowledge of reports, software and tools, as applicable.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and office technology.
- Customer service focus for internal and external customer interactions, including through verbal and written communication varieties.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office and Warehouse /production software.
- Ability to communicate through audible and written communications.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and kneel frequently.
- Requires use of hand and finger coordination for gripping and typing.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to read, write, speak and hear in English.
