About The Position

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and willingness to train and share knowledge with coworkers.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads, emergency call-ins, and travel to technical schools.
• A team-first attitude and ability to work independently.
• Reliability and initiative, with minimal supervision required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily and work in damp, noisy, and climate-variable environments, both indoors and outdoors.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety, health, quality, food safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to equipment trouble calls and perform efficient, sanitary, and safe repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and document tasks, time, and deficiencies.
• Perform bench repairs and operate power tools, hand tools, welding and cutting equipment, and man lifts as needed.
• Complete and file required documentation in an organized and timely manner.
